Nurse Practitioner specializing in addiction and co-occurring disorders
Dr. Bowman is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in addiction and dual diagnosis medicine. She is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy certified and extensively treats patients with post-traumatic stress disorder, chronic pain, and patients on the autism spectrum who are chemically dependent.
Dr. Bowman has provided detoxification and medical management, both inpatient and outpatient, for over 20 years, and practices privately in Sausalito, CA. Previously, she taught mental health nursing at Northwestern Michigan College. She was educated at the University of Michigan and Michigan State University and is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
