Bay Area Social Worker with an Integrative Therapeutic Approach
Emily is proud to be a Bay Area social worker. Emily received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC Berkeley and a Master of Social Work from San Francisco State University. Emily has experience supporting youth, adults, and families in a variety of settings, including academic institutions, non-profit organizations, and intensive treatment programs.
Emily utilizes an integrative approach with each of her clients, encompassing various therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Insight-Oriented Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindful Self-Compassion. This comprehensive approach allows her to effectively assist clients who are facing challenges related to trauma, depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, OCD and related disorders including Body Dysmorphic Disorder and Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors.
In her free time, Emily enjoys baking, hiking, watching Netflix, and spending time with loved ones.
